“Winemaking is as much about people as it is about practices. We at Berton Vineyards are still young enough to be awed by the tradition but also to feel the need to challenge ourselves by testing the boundaries of winemaking.” From small beginnings the company has expanded it’s operations with the purchase of the Yenda winery based in the heart of the Riverina. The state of the art facility has the capacity to process 20,000 tonnes and produce premium wines that display personality, length of flavour and fabulous texture.
David and Wizz O’Dea are the founders of Windowrie Estate. The O’Dea family, believing that Cowra’s potential as a grape-growing region could only be reached by processing its own fruit locally, have invested in a state-of-the-art winery – completed in time for the 1999 vintage. The winery was erected on a hillside overlooking the magnificent vista of the Estate’s vineyard and has the capability of processing up to 6,000 tonnes of grapes. The vision for the winery was to combine the latest technology with traditional techniques.

Seresin Estate was established in the early 1990s in Marlborough by acclaimed cinematographer Michael Seresin. The vineyards centre around the alluvial terraces of the Wairau Valley. The Seresin philosophy is to work in harmony with the land, using the finest techniques from the new and old worlds to create wines of individuality and complexity. Organic and biodynamic practices are used in the Estate vineyards, with minimal intervention in the winery.
